Anneke is a compassionate and dedicated professional with a diverse background in both education and mental health, making her uniquely skilled in working with children. As a Seattle native, who has had the unique experience of teaching 2nd grade in Thailand, Anneke has a deep understanding of diverse learning styles and cultural differences, allowing her to create an inclusive, supportive environment where children feel valued and empowered to succeed.
As a mental health professional at Seattle Children's Hospital, Anneke worked directly with children and their families, providing emotional support and practical strategies to navigate challenges. Through this experience, she developed a keen ability to connect with young minds, using empathy and patience to create a safe space for children to express themselves, thrive and grow.
As a proud dog parent to a rescue Border Collie, she enjoys the companionship of their energetic canine while hiking or camping in the beautiful PNW. Anneke is also a strong advocate for local communities and can often be found visiting the local farmers' market, supporting sustainable practices, and seeking out fresh produce.
